Summer Sundae 2006 - Summary

Well, Michael Eavis might maintain that the reason this year’s Summer Sundae – and all the other festivals – sold out for the first time this year is because there was no Glastonbury, but I heartily believe that the tickets went for this one because of the quality of the artists, the remarkable variation, the cleanliness of the amenities, the friendliness and efficiency of the staff, the many well stocked and convenient food outlets, the easily accessible campsites, the high entertainment value, the continued involvement of BBC 6music and the fact that it remains, on the whole, to be the best run festival of the whole lot.

Atomicduster would like to extend its gratitude to the man behind it all, Richard Haswell for putting on such a magnificent event yet again and somehow improving it once more. And also we’d like to know where he got his hat…
